FORMER OLYMPIAN MARION JONES TO KEYNOTE 4TH ANNUAL BLOOM WOMEN’S LUNCHEON

Pflugerville Education Foundation Celebrates Local Leaders During Women’s History Month

Pflugerville, TX (February 19, 2026) – The Pflugerville Education Foundation (PEF) is proud to announce world-class athlete and leadership coach Marion Jones will serve as the keynote speaker for the fourth annual Bloom Women’s Luncheon

Now held in March to coincide with Women’s History Month, Bloom celebrates the impact of women who drive growth and excellence in the Pflugerville and Central Texas communities. This year’s theme, “Women Empowering Women,” highlights the strength found in resilience and the power of uplifting others.

“We are honored to welcome Jones to the Bloom stage,” said Staci Young, president of the Pflugerville Education Foundation. “She embodies our event’s core mission: empowering women to see the best in themselves. Our attendees will leave feeling energized and inspired by her message of courage and personal growth.”

Jones, a dedicated mother and coach, will share her philosophy on forgiveness as a foundation for leadership. Her keynote will explore core themes of leading under pressure, balancing professional and family life, and finding the clarity needed to lead with purpose.

Call for Nominations

Recognizing Local Excellence In conjunction with the luncheon, PEF is currently seeking nominations to honor outstanding women in the community. Submissions are open through February 25, 2026, for the following categories:

  • Pfantastic Mentor Award
  • Pfabulous Community Leader Award
  • Pfenomenal Volunteer Award

“Jones’ journey reminds us that resilience and purpose define true greatness,” said Karl Spencer, executive director of the Pflugerville Education Foundation. “We see those same qualities in the women of Pflugerville—leaders who rise, persevere, and uplift our community every day,”
