Victor and Kristen To Family Scholarship
Purpose
Pflugerville Native Victor To was raised by a single working mother whose perseverance and enduring love for her children allowed him to become the first member of their family to graduate college. The purpose of this scholarship is to honor the devotion and sacrifices made to give us a chance at a better life.
This application will be available on Monday, March 18, 2024 and is due April 14, 2024.
Award: $1,000 towards tuition and books
Criteria:
- Current PfISD Student
- Graduating Senior
- Member of a single-provider household (single parent. step-parent, sibling, etc.)
- Have taken at least 4 AP classes in their high school career
- Intending to pursue any kind of post-secondary education (Community College, University, CTE Program, etc.)
Submission Requirements:
- Proof of Enrollment (transcript)
- Personal Essay no more that 1 page double-spaced that answers the following: Explain how growing up with a single provider has affected you. Explain your career aspirations and future plans. Explain how the scholarship will help you achieve your goals.
