Join the Pflugerville Education Foundation Staff

We are hiring two positions to help lead the Pfoundation into the Pfuture. We are seeking an Executive Director to spearhead our mission, develop our strategic direction, and secure essential funding for PFISD schools, educators, and students. In addition, we are seeking creative and innovative candidates for our Marketing and Development Specialist. 

Executive Director: Plans for, administers, develops, implements and provides oversight of all fundraising activities and Foundation programs in accordance with the Foundation’s stated mission and goals and in such a manner that optimum results are achieved in relation to the resources of the Foundation and District. Operates under the general direction of the PfISD Chief Communications Officer and Foundation’s Board of Directors. 

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing, Public Relations or Business concentration beneficial); Master’s Degree preferred (may substitute 3 years’ experience for advanced degree); Certified Fundraising Executive or five years of fundraising and supervisory or managerial experience in not-for-profit sector or related field required. Experience in a public school district is helpful. Experience working with a volunteer board of directors preferred.

Marketing and Development Specialist: The Marketing & Development Specialist is a dynamic and mission-driven individual who will play a pivotal role in advancing the Pflugerville Education Foundation's strategic growth and impact. This position is responsible for igniting innovative ideas, leveraging marketing expertise to expand donor engagement, amplify the Foundation's brand, and effectively communicate its mission to the community. This role drives forward-thinking initiatives to secure resources that directly enhance educational opportunities for Pflugerville ISD students and staff. 

Qualifications: BA or BS in marketing, communications, public relations, business, non-profit management or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 - 5 years successful experience in marketing, communications, development, project coordination, or a related role within a non-profit, education, or community-focused environment, including demonstrated experience in planning and executing events preferred. Demonstrates experience in developing and executing compelling marketing campaigns and managing digital content across various platforms.
